A little peek into your breeder's life

Hello, my name is Nicole Goeckeritz. I am happily married to Brian, and together we have three amazing kids aged 18 to 13. One fun fact about us is that we actually met in jail! Haha, don't worry, Brian didn't bail me out - we both worked there. He is a retired correctional officer, and I currently work at Cyprus Credit Union in the Training and Development Department.
Growing up on a farm, I developed a deep love for animals, and my grandpa taught me how to breed horses. My life has always revolved around animals, and I wouldn't have it any other way. As a teenager, I fell in love with golden retrievers after watching the movie "Homeward Bound" and being captivated by Shadow. Since then, I knew that someday I would breed and raise golden retrievers.
Brian and I are incredibly passionate about the breed, and we actively participate in agility, rally, dock diving, barn hunt, and hunting activities with our dogs. We place a strong emphasis on training and working with our pack. With Brian being retired, our dogs are our top priority, and they are all cherished members of our family who live indoors with us or their guardian families. We understand how much goldens thrive on human companionship, which is why we do not use a kennel set-up.
